Ahmed Hazem Maher joined EFG-Hermes Research in 2013 as an equity research analyst in the materials team, with a primary focus on fertilisers, steel, as well as other diversified holding companies in the MENA region. He is currently the lead analyst covering MENA Industrials and Materials, in addition to Small- &Mid-cap stocks (primarily in Egypt). Prior to joining EFG Hermes, he was a senior research analyst at Prime Holding in Cairo, Egypt. Ahmed graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
